Safety

Usage warnings

  • Powdered infant formulas, like Bobbie, are not sterile and should not be fed to premature infants or infants who are immunocompromised unless directed and supervised by the baby's health care provider.
  • Water used for mixing infant formula must be from a safe source, like distilled, purified, or nursery water. If using tap water, bring to a rolling boil for one minute and let cool for no more than 30 minutes.
  • Use prepared infant formula within 2 hours of preparing it. Once feeding starts, throw away any formula your baby does not finish within 1 hour.
  • Don’t refrigerate leftover formula to save it for later.
