Whenever the seat is used rear-facing and the harness straps are no longer AT or JUST BELOW the child's shoulders.
Adjust the no-rethread Headrest so the harness straps are AT or JUST BELOW the child's shoulders. Also confirm the child's head remains 1 inch (2.5 cm) or more below the top of the shell or Headrest, whichever is higher.
As the child grows, when the Buckle Strap is no longer as close to but NEVER underneath the child's bottom, or if it is under the child.
Move the Adjustable Buckle Strap to the slot closest to but NEVER underneath the child's bottom. Remove the Buckle Pad, unsnap the Seat Pad, slide and twist the Buckle Strap out, move it to the new slot, twist it back into position, then reassemble.
When the child exceeds 11 lb (5 kg).
Remove the Foam Wedge from the Infant Insert Seat Pad by unsnapping the snaps at the rear of the Seat Pad and pulling the Foam Wedge out. The Seat Pad may still be used without the Foam Wedge up to 20 lb (9 kg).
When the child exceeds 20 lb (9 kg).
Remove the Infant Insert Head Pad. Pull it away from the Headrest so the two tabs slide out of the slots on the Headrest cover.
When the child exceeds 20 lb (9 kg).
Stop using the Infant Insert Seat Pad. Unsnap the Seat Pad and remove it from the harness area.
Only when the child is at least 1 year old, weighs 26.5-65 lb (12-29.5 kg), is 34.3-49.2 in (87-125 cm) tall, and the top of the ears is below the top of the Headrest.
If switching to forward-facing, adjust the Headrest so the harness straps are AT or JUST ABOVE the child's shoulders. CYBEX recommends keeping the child rear-facing as long as possible, until the highest rear-facing weight or height allowed by the seat.
When a rear-facing child exceeds 30 lb (13.6 kg).
Do not use Lower Anchors above this rear-facing child weight. Reinstall the seat with an allowed vehicle belt method.
Whenever the seat is used forward-facing and the harness straps are no longer AT or JUST ABOVE the child's shoulders.
Adjust the no-rethread Headrest so the harness straps are AT or JUST ABOVE the child's shoulders, and keep the top of the child's ears below the top of the Headrest.
When a forward-facing child exceeds 35 lb (15.9 kg).
Do not use Lower Anchors above this forward-facing child weight. Reinstall the seat with an allowed vehicle belt method.
Only when the child is 4 years of age or older, weighs 40-120 lb (18.2-54.4 kg), is 43.3-57 in (110-145 cm) tall, the top of the ears is below the top of the Headrest, the Shoulder Belt can route through the Shoulder Belt Path at or just above the shoulders and midway between the shoulder and neck, and the Lap Belt fits low and snug across the hips within the Lower Belt Path.
To convert the seat, loosen the harness, raise the Headrest to the highest position, remove the Canopy, unfasten the SensorSafe Chest Clip and Harness Buckle Tongues, remove the Buckle Pad, unsnap and pull the Seat Pad forward, remove and store the Buckle Strap on the underside of the Base, store the Harness Straps/Shoulder Pads/Buckle Tongues inside the side wings under the Seat Cover, tuck the Harness Adjuster Strap into its opening, reattach the Seat Pad, and adjust the Booster Headrest. In booster mode, use a lap/shoulder belt only—NEVER a lap belt only.
Whenever the seat is used in booster mode and the vehicle Shoulder Belt no longer lies between the child's neck and shoulder, or is not AT or JUST ABOVE the shoulders.
Adjust the Booster Headrest so the Shoulder Belt lies between the child's neck and shoulder. Keep the Shoulder Belt through the Shoulder Belt Path, flat and untwisted, and keep the Lap Belt low and snug across the hips within the Lower Belt Path.
When the child weighs more than 65 lb (29.5 kg), is more than 49.2 in (125 cm) tall, the harness straps cannot be adjusted AT or JUST ABOVE the child's shoulders, or the tops of the child's ears are above the top of the Headrest.
Stop using the internal harness. The manual directs the caregiver to select BOOSTER MODE if these conditions exist.
When the child is more than 120 lb (54.4 kg), more than 57 in (145 cm) tall, or the top of the ears is above the top of the Headrest in booster mode.
Discontinue use of the Callisto G 360. The manual states the child may be ready to use the vehicle belt system only at this time.
