FRIGG Daisy Pacifier

At 6+ months; FRIGG Daisy sizes are Size 1 (0–6 months, 27 mm nipple) and Size 2 (6+ months, 30 mm nipple).

Switch from Size 1 to Size 2 as your child moves past the 0–6 month stage. FRIGG notes that its sizes are guiding and that some newborns may prefer Size 2.

Every 4–8 weeks; FRIGG care instructions also say to discard after 1–2 months of consistent use.

Discard the current pacifier and replace it with a new one on this schedule for hygiene and safety.

At the first signs of damage or wear; FRIGG FAQ examples include tooth marks or cracks on the nipple.

Stop using that pacifier immediately and discard it. Check the pacifier before each use.

If you notice bite marks on the nipple or your child starts biting or chewing the pacifier; FRIGG says this commonly happens as children approach 2.5–3 years old.

Begin the weaning process and reduce pacifier use. Do not let the pacifier be used as a chew toy. If your child is using silicone, FRIGG says natural rubber nipples are slightly more resistant to biting.

By age 2–3 years; FRIGG recommends weaning off the pacifier habit by this age to avoid dental problems.

Start reducing daily pacifier use and work toward ending the habit during this age window.

No later than age 3 years.

Discontinue pacifier use completely. FRIGG says this is why it does not make a Size 3 pacifier and notes that teeth affected by pacifier use have time to self-correct if pacifier use stops by age 3.
