Age & weight limits

  • SWIV stroller child usage requirements: weight up to 50 lb (22.7 kg) maximum; height up to 45 in. (114.3 cm).
  • SWIV™ & TRIV™ series bassinet child usage requirements: up to 20 lb (9 kg), 27 in. (68 cm) or less, birth–6 months.
  • When using the stroller frame with a PIPA™ series infant carrier, refer to the child usage requirements listed in that infant carrier’s instruction manual.

SWIV™ & TRIV™ series bassinet usage is up to 20 lb (9 kg), up to 27 in. (68 cm), birth–6 months; STOP using the bassinet when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees.

If you are using the optional SWIV™ & TRIV™ series bassinet on the stroller, discontinue bassinet use once any listed limit is met. Remove the bassinet from the stroller, and do not fold the stroller with the bassinet attached.

Compatibility

  • Travel system ready—simply attach any PIPA™ series infant car seat with the included ring adapter.
  • Use the car seat ring adapter only with a Nuna PIPA™ series infant carrier in combination with a Nuna SWIV stroller.
  • The stroller product page states that SWIV pairs perfectly with all Nuna infant car seats and the SWIV™ & TRIV™ series bassinet.
  • To use the optional SWIV™ & TRIV™ series bassinet on the stroller, attach the post adapters to the stroller seat mounts; the stroller seat must be removed first.

Setup notes

  • Recline: there are 3 recline positions for the backrest; the product page describes them as including a near-flat option.
  • Calf support / footrest: the calf support has 2 use positions. Raise it by lifting up; lower it by pressing the adjustment button and pushing down.
  • The seat can be reversed on the frame.
  • The upper shoulder harness buckles can be moved up and down for added adjustment.
  • The included car seat ring adapter must be attached so that the infant carrier is rear facing.
  • The compatible SWIV™ & TRIV™ series bassinet can be attached to the stroller in rear-facing or forward-facing mode on the post adapters.

Care instructions

  • Refer to the care label attached to the fabric for washing and drying instructions.
  • Clean the stroller frame, plastic parts, and fabric with a damp cloth; do not use abrasives or bleach.
  • Always allow the stroller fabric to dry naturally away from direct heat.
  • For the compatible bassinet, the mattress cover, top cover, and liner are machine washable; do not wash the mattress.
