Use the standard mixing ratio of 1 unpacked, level scoop per 1 oz of water. For all-formula feeding, offer 1/2-1 oz at birth, increasing to 2-3 oz, with 8-12 bottles per 24 hours. For 50/50 combo feeding, offer 4-6 bottles per 24 hours plus breastmilk.

Safety

Usage warnings

  • Use as directed by a physician. Failure to follow directions could result in severe harm.
  • Never use a microwave to prepare or warm formula. Serious burns may result.
  • Powdered infant formula is not sterile and should not be used to feed premature infants or infants who might have immune problems unless directed and supervised by your baby's doctor.
  • Once prepared, use formula immediately, or cover and store in a refrigerator at 35-40°F (2-4°C) for no longer than 24 hours.
  • Do not freeze prepared formula.
  • After feeding begins, use formula within one hour and discard any leftovers.
  • Ask your baby's doctor whether you need to use cooled, boiled water for mixing and whether bottles, nipples, and rings need to be sterilized before use.
