Adjustments and changes as your baby grows, in the order they typically come up.
When your baby starts to sit up
Move the mattress to a lower setting (the crib level) to prevent them from accidentally tumbling out.
When child is able to pull to a standing position
Set the mattress to the lowest position and remove bumper pads, large toys and other objects that could serve as steps for climbing out.
When your little one grows to 35 inches tall or starts trying to climb out of the crib on their own (even if they haven’t reached the height limit yet)
Take out the mattress and unscrew one side of the crib. Make sure the mattress support is at its lowest level for safety, attach the toddler rail, and place the mattress back on the frame so it fits snugly with no gaps. Only use the compatible guardrail from Newton Baby, Inc. Do not use toddler bed mode with children younger than 15 months or greater than 50 lbs.
Never use with children younger than 2 years old. Use only with older children who can get in and out of this product configuration without help.
If using the rail-removed open-side configuration, keep the mattress support in the lowest height adjustment setting. The instruction manual says never to use this mode for sleep.
Maximum weight: 50 lbs.
Discontinue use of this product once your child exceeds 50 lbs.
