The Bugaboo newborn inlay was specially designed for children from 0 up to 6 months. When your baby has begun to move more and is able to move their hands and knees up, Bugaboo recommends discontinuing use.
If you are using the optional Bugaboo newborn inlay in the pram body, stop using it by 6 months and sooner once your baby begins moving more and can move their hands and knees up. Do not use it in the seat configuration.
Bugaboo says the seat unit is not suitable for children under 6 months, and the seat fabric can be used from 6 months on. Bugaboo also says to stop using the bassinet/carrycot when the infant begins to push up on hands and knees or has reached 9 kg (20 lbs), whichever comes first.
Convert the Bugaboo Fox from bassinet/pram body mode to seat mode once your child is at least 6 months old. Do not continue bassinet/carrycot use past the push-up-on-hands-and-knees or 9 kg (20 lbs) limit.
As soon as the child can sit unaided.
Use the complete five-point restraint system/harness for every ride once your child can sit unaided.
Once your child can sit unaided. Bugaboo also sets a 9 kg (20 lbs) maximum child weight when the seat is used independently of the chassis.
If you use the seat off the chassis as a reclined cradle, stop using that mode once your child can sit unaided, and never exceed 9 kg (20 lbs).
